How We Live

We live in a nice house on the hillside about 5 minutes from the administration building. The climate in Zambia is nice and not as hot as Senegal. At Riverside we enjoy having a garden right in front of our house. As in St. Louis too, we have running water and electricity. There is only one phone (works via satellite) on the campus so we don’t have a telephone or internet in our house.

We are glad that Lusaka is only a 45 minutes drive away from Riverside. There, we can find most things that white people need. The immediate environment is green, quite unlike the Sahel zone which makes us feel more like in Switzerland.
